Description: General Golf Course Maintenance and Repair 

• Regular mowing and landscaping of golf course grounds 
• Apply fertilizer, turf seeding, herbicides, and pesticides on and around the golf course 
• Monitor and repair irrigation systems, drainage, and course restoration Minor electrical work, troubleshooting and repair on turf equipment Minor plumbing work and repair 
• Minor welding or fabrication 
• Miscellaneous carpentry repair work 
• Perform janitorial services including building clean up, litter pick-up, etc. 
• Perform road, parking lot and walkway maintenance 
• Perform snow and ice removal including roads, parking lots, sidewalks, etc. Equipment Operation. 
• Operate project specific equipment including but not limited to; specialized mowing equipment, power tools, hand tools, survey and measuring equipment 
• Cleans, maintains and inspects golf course equipment and machinery Other 
• Assist with MetroParks events as determined by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent 
• Provides intra-department support as determined by the Golf Course Superintendent 
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old -Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver's license 
• Must be able to respond to emergency call-outs as necessary 
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with continued education or technical school trade certification or apprenticeship 
• A minimum of three (3) years of golf course or landscape maintenance 
• Must be familiar with landscaping equipment including tractors, irrigation systems, sprinklers and edgers
