Bucks For Turf

Members of your Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Executive Committee, Board of Trustees and staff recently met with Ohio State administrators, Dean Bobby Moser and Director of Extension, Dr. Keith Smith. One of the many topics discussed was the long-standing relationship between OTF and Ohio State and how we can continue working together to make a difference in the turfgrass industry.

USGA Green Section Regional Meeting

The USGA Green Section Regional Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20th. The featured speakers include Dr. Joe Vargas and Tom Marzolf of Fazio Design. Lecture topics will include golf course maintenance, diseases that threaten turfgrass, and more! You will even have the opportunity to take part in an informal round table discussion!

Webinar - Clean Water Act

Northen Ohio GCSA Members, GCSAA is hosting a free webinar next Thursday, January 19 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. (Central) entitled “Clean Water Act Permitting of Pesticide Discharges – What Does It Mean?”. Mr. Jack Faulk from the U.S. EPA’s Office of Water will be presenting background and compliance information on the new CWA NPDES chemical spraying permit which covers pesticide applications in, over or near waters of the U.S.
